Okay guys, you're all going to get mad at me because... I don't know why because............. On to the question :lookaround: Okay, this should be a peice of cake for you guys. How do you put a chair ( or different chairs ) in a map. I'd appriciate the help.:bows: So that's it, thanks, and goodnight.:cya:
Make it with brush-/patchwork.
I would suggest using a model for the harder, more detailed chairs. However, for something slightly more simple, I would suggest using brushes. You can always clip a brush to look like a sphere, but not a sphere to look like a brush.
Oh. Ok. Well I thought there was some kind of model for it. Because a lot of the time I see some maps with the same looking chair...
Oh..... so how do you get the model. (Or whatever) o'ya guys. Thanks for not getting mad at me for something... lol
I dont know what do u mean saying model, but for the chair,i create misc_model then selecting path map_objects/bespin/chair and it looks perfectly.
Thanks man, you rock! Now that you told me to use misc, I can get most everything I need. :nodding: Okay then. Next question now that that one's answered. (Thanks btw.) How do you put the glows in the textures??? :uhm:
You need to make shaders. you can do it with notepad, shadered or q3ase. I'm using q3ase coz i hate typing and shadered sucks. Going to get you a tutorial and q3ase link.
I'm way cooler than n0e (who isn't though?)

the models will not be solid you need to cover them with another brush you can
