Downloading!!!! I've tried this a million times!!! and it still dosen't seem to work!!!!. When I click a skin to download!!!! it says open file? or save file? Now!!! do i save the file at this point do i save the download to the game data folder? or do I save it else where until i can unzip it!!!!!!

Next!!!!!~ when unzipping!!!! do you clikc extract once the file is selcted to unzip? and do you change the name of the file in winzip? or do you wait till it has been unziped before you do that? Once unzipped? how do you change the name of the file????????? what exact folder does it have to be in??

This downloading shit is doing my head in!!!! but i have finished the game!! and i need to change it up a bit!!!! Can anyone!!! pleasE!!!!!! do a extremly detailed step by step process to downloading SP OINLY!!!!! Skins!!!! Write it like im 4

First of all, stop freakin out!! Here are the steps :deal:

1) from the website , you probably want to save the file from the website 2) Save it in a folder for later use, maybe one where you keep all your downloads 3) Just extract the file named ([whatever you downloaded]).pk3 manually into your gamedata/base directory 4) Start up Jedi Outcast

Plus, there are only a few SP skins out there, most of em are MP only Hope this post Helps!   :D :D :D

;)

What he said, hehe.

Save the zips anywhere you wish, open the zips, extract the pk3 files to your "base" folder, start JK2 and you should see your new skins/maps there :)

Create one yourself.. Heh.. That's easier.. If you have space enough on your computer, use the following steps:

Extract the assets0.pk3 with winzip.. (actually you only need the models folder, but you can't see folders with winzip, there i can only recomend winACE, this program shows folders) Find your model. Copy the folder f.ex jeditrainer When done do as follows: create following folders: models/players/jeditrainer Good now we want to play as the jeditrainer, so here goes.. Change the folder names to: models/players/kyle Ok so now you have an effective kyle char.. But last step is still needed.. rightclick the models folder (this is what i do, there are probably other ways, but i find this the most understandable).. So.. We had our folders: models/players/kyle (<- In the kyle folder, should be all of the files from the jeditrainer folder, just so there are no misunderstandings). now rightclick the folder called models Choose the winzip option, "add to models.zip" Now your folders are packed into a zipped file.. Rename the file to [whatever you like],pk3.. This is done like this: Use the dosprompt, that comes along with windows.. Go to the folder where you saved your models.zip file.. and type: rename models.zip [whatever you like].pk3 now the zip has the extension pk3, instead of zip.. Put the file in the base folder, and your jeditrainer player should work.. One more thing.. This can be done with all models, that is humanoid models.. ;) But with downloadet models it goes a bit different..

Hope it was understandable
