I have made a model. Now I need to skin it. Is there a "Skinning your custom model for dummies" tutoriul out there that someone can point me too.

I think... that you need to make a UVMap of your model and then use that as a base to make your skin. I don't know much because I've never done this personally (except in Milkshape) I don't know of any tutorials either sorry.. Try searching for some UVMap tutorials.. any kind should really help you :)

www.bobotheseal.com try his tuts, it's something with baking blabla onto models, it's a combination of using MAX lighting then baking the lights onto the model then UVmapping it so it's easy to skin :dance: if that doesn't work try http://www.planetquake.com/polycount under resources you'll find a good deal of info on this, but you need to UVmap it. then skin the flats
