Can anyone let me know where the .cfg script is that tells Jedi Outcast which model to use as the playermodel? Cheers

If you have asset0.pk3, you should open it with pakscape, then find npcs.cfg in ext_data directory, drag it to the desktop or whatever u want to keep, and open up it in notepad, and replace the models you pleases to, and then save it and drag it back in and save. You should make a back up copy of npcs.cfg as well.

It's unsafe to edit the assets files... Make a new .pk3 file about it instead, to prevent errors and re-install.

Would it be possible to actually change the player model between levels, so that for instance Kyle appears differently in the Artus missions to how he appears on Kejim? Cheers

That's the question I have at the moment, too. Anyone knows the answere?

I'm making a MOD and I wanted to make the player be Luke in one Level, and Mara in an other...

I don't know how you can change a model ingame except for console commands (/model models/players/****/model.glm) but if you included different models in the finished .pk3 file then maybe you could use radiant and change the player model for the level there.
