Is anyone interested in helping me with some of the basics? I'm trying to change the boots into dragon-like feet and re-do the hair style by using this program, but the tutorials I've read are very confusing and they're not specific enuff. I downloaded a tutorial upgrade from their site, but I still have problems understanding the basics. If anyone is interested in helping a poor soul, contact me at BushidoLeo@hotmail.com or let me know if you'd want to chat on AIM or MSN. Otherwise, I'd be posting daily questions :( I feel it's much easier to talk with a buddy rather than mess around reading confusing stuff. Any help is appreciated.:) (The tutorials are helpful in some areas, but it's as if the tutorial is meant for someone who is experienced with the program already. Meaning the guy would know where to find all the tools and stuff, which is where I'm lost really. . .)

No offense... think you would have more luck with getting someone to show you the basics at a 3DS Max forum?

What? He's new to forums too? Don't you agree that on a forum specific to a complex app like a modeller he is likely to find alot more people who can provide useful info? Fuggin' CraigDavid2004 wannabe...

visit www.3dtotal.com or www.3dbuzz.com The best places for tutorials, and there are many of them, and i'm sure they'll help you. The best way to learn is to experiment. What is this button for, what'll happen when i click this, etc.
