I get this lockup (Screen sticks, last second of sound is repeated over and over) almost everytime I play. It happens a lot when a server is changing maps or when a round in finished, and sometimes it locks up when i'm in the main menu getting started.
This is my computer Specs (Don't laugh)
PII 450 256 SDRAM 16 MB Riva TNT 2 (Come on, stop laughing)
Everything should have updated drivers. EXE is not patched/cracked, I run the game off the CD.
Please let me know if you have a solution for this.
Thanks a lot in advance, Ed
A couple of my friends are having the same problems. its happening so frequently that they cant play the game :dropsjar: system one is running:

and the other is running:
550P3 512 RAM geforce2 ti

The one thing common about the 3 systems is that they have Nvidia video cards :D... there have been some problems with it and can be fixed using an old version of drivers. I'll have to doublecheck.. I'll be back later today with some more info :)

I have been posting all over the net to try and resolve this issue. So far all I get are suggestions I have already ruled out and other nonsense. LucasArts support sucks too. Haven't even answered my 2 emails about this issue.
I would like to know more about your setup. Here is mine:
System Specs: Abit BX-133 (note: AGP 2x only) Geforce 3 OC/215C & 485M (Det. 28.32 previously 23.11) 256MB PC133 2-3-3 Celeron II 633 OC to 1007Mhz (runs between 31C & 32C) Windows XP Pro GXP60 connected to the High Point RAID Controller Chipset (not RAID) Sound Blaster PCI128 Lite-On DVD CDROM (like it matters... ;-) Game: JKII w/Patch 1.03
I am wondering if anyone with a motherboard that supports AGP4x is having this issue as well. Mine doesn't and I am wondering if the game is assuming AGP4x when its actually 2x. Would explain a lot.
hey ya'll i get da same problem except mine's a tincy wincy bincy bit different, you should try turning off the GL extension, n fortunatly It didnt ork for me, but it might for u....

Same here frezzening up and having to illegal restsart my computer. and other porublem while where on the issus is when i am playing on a sever configer my force power..... them it goes to a different map and 8 points of my saberdefense has to be fixed and some thimes there is less points every time this happens.
I'm also running an Nvidia video card. My problem is that it locks up when I add a bot (even just one) to my MP game. Sometimes it would just lock up for no apparent reason at all. At first I thought it was the skin I was testing, but even when all of my mods were removed and the game was operating as installed, it STILL hangs on me. I got the NVidia so I could actually -play- Myst 3: Exile (because UbiSoft INSISTED that it would only perform with an NVIDIA... major huge deal last year when it came out) and now I can't run JK2 because of it? >sigh<
We are supposed to get -older- drivers for the Nvidia card then? What version do we need to solve the problem?
Has LucasArts or Raven said anything to anyone about this issue?
