Ok, so after a few years of no JO I bought a brand new JO disk at my local Meijer. Unused, still wrapped. I get the stupid cl_parsepacketentities error when trying to join some servers. Some of them load completely then give me the error just before I can select my model and saber color. I have searched for this topic on here and google and everything says "cracked game, use original disk." I just bought the game not two hours ago. No cracks or no-cd patches are being used. Clean base. No mods. Updated to most recent patch. Anyone find a solution to this problem yet?? Once again, Im not using a cracked version, Im using an original, brand new disk and Im NOT using a no-cd patch. Thanks.

It is rumored that some custom mods can cause this error. If you are using some mods, try taking them out and see if that corrects the problem.

:lookaround:

Sounds like you've either been sold a dodgy disc, or you're trying to join servers using different patch versions.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

There are certain brands of CD-R/RW drives which have problems, although those are few and far between. That's really the only logical thing left, though, so I guess that must be it.
