I know regulars probably get annoyed by n00bish questions regarding skinning and models, but I have a problem. The other day, I downloaded a model and then put it into my 'base file' and started up JO. Anyway, for some reason or another, the model won't show up. I went to the console window, typed in devmapall and tried the 'playermodel' code. Still nothing. I know there's some error on my part, so what am I doing wrong?

Okay, all I do is i first download the file and all, and then extract it to my desktop. Then, I take the model's file (lets call it 'anonomous.pk3') and go into Jedi Outcasts' GameData folder. After I open it up, I click and drag 'anonomous.pk3' into the 'base' folder. Then I just close it and I switch on JO. But, like I said before, it won't show up.

You're doing everything correctly, but it may be the actual .pk3 that's the problem. It could be corrupt or not valid. Do other .pk3 files work? If so, it's that paticular one that's the problem.
