I installed jk2 recently, and its stating that i do not have the game Cd in drive when attempting to play on multiplayer or single player. any idea what i can do ?
It is probably dirty or scratched.
Give it a good wash, be careful, though. A bit of toothpaste may do the trick.
If all else fails, buy a new disk.
Not scratched or dirty, just got the cd, its almost like jk2 isnt recognising that i have the Cd in the drive, because right after i select a server it states Game Cd not in drive

Some of the earlier models of CD-R, CD-RW and DVD-R drives tend to not recognise discs on occasion. Happened to me a while back when I first ventured into the realm of optical media - Age of Empires 2 wouldn't work for about a month until I found some new drivers for the CD drive.
I assume your disc is a legit copy, rather than a... "backup". If you're using a "backup" copy or a virtual disc image, then it quite simply won't work regardless of other factors.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
