narbsta: Check does your firewall give access to the game, or you could try update the game.

it seems a few people are havng this error i have a 3.2 with an asus p4p800e deluxe MB and a gig of ddr500 ram
bfg6800gt video card.
jk2 wont work on this computer or the 3.0 both of which i just built
i had a 533fsb 2.66 ghz non ht technology that ran the game fine.
but both of the new ones give the same error.

i called lucasarts technical support and they told me that basicly they dont support the 1.2 version only the 1.4 version. since they stopped supporting 1.2 then this version wont work with some newer computers. im going to call back here when thier hours open again and get the complaint department.
complaining that 1.2 and 1.4 are 2 completly different games.
and that to not be able to play the 1.2 version on a newer computer that i bought specificly to play that game with! while 1.4 works flawlessly is rediculous. since its obviously a small flaw that if they chose to fix it they could. i would buy the game all over again if they could just get 1.2 to work on my new computer!
please call and ask them to do the same thing for you! and when they tell you they only support 1.4 tell them its not the same game at all! and that you would like to file a complaint!/request!
