ok i never bothered before on looking into ho to wetup a map rotation cause well i only ran one map.now i would likt o rotate my maps.

how i would like to do it is i want to setup the rotation in a seperate cfg file (that i know how to do)

what i dont know is how to setup the rotation. can someone please help?

aye, not too obvious this one :)

here it is, then i'll explain (MUCH easier, sort of...)

//file start

set map1 "map duel_temple;set nextmap vstr map2" set map2 "map duel_hangar;set nextmap vstr map3" set map3 "map duel_training;set nextmap vstr map1"

vstr map1

//file end

the first 3 lines set up the maps to rotate by giving variables (in this case map1, map2, etc) commands, ie: map , next map vstr

then, 'vstr map1' starts the ball rolling by executing the commands in map1, which in turn executes map2, and so on

the last variable points back to the first, creating the rotation, ya see?

if that was gobbledegook, it doesn't matter as it's fairly obvious where to put the map names, and you can have as many mapX numbers as you like, just remember to always make the last one point to map1
