See you soon!
Just out of curiosity; why are you taking only beginners and intermediate players while rejecting highly experienced players? Getting people to join new clans is hard enough as it is, even without being so selective.
No thanks. I don't play Jedi Academy online anymore. Too much hostility for my taste. Not to mention the fact I have a strong dislike for being bossed around, which is something I've noticed clan leaders like to do.
Here's a tip for you as a clan leader (and all other clan and different kinds of leaders out there): With power comes responsibility. Mutual respect is vital for successful cooperation. As a clan leader, you are an authority and as such should be respected, but that respect does not come with the position. It has to be earned.
I've noticed that some people resort to instilling fear among others to gain their obedience, threaten to kick them out and even become rude, hostile, attack and insult people who don't bow down to them and kiss their precious behinds, all in an effort to shut them up and force to adopt their way of thinking, all without taking the time to actually explain why are they doing things certain way (different clans have different ways of doing things) and trying to see (and understand) the opposite point of view and, maybe, even adopt some of it's wisdom. Instead, they prefer to simply give an ultimatum - "either do as I say or fu** off".
Treating people like that makes them frustrated, bitter, angry and resentful. And why should anyone have any respect for a person, a leader, who treats people like that? I certainly don't. It's easy to take the quick and easy path to solving problems. And we all know where the quick and easy path leads to, right? ;)
There. Sorry for stealing your thread a bit, but I felt the urge to say this. Good luck to you with your clan.
