Have you noticed that in JKA, it takes up to 3 shots to kill a stormtrooper, or 2 shots if you shoot him in the head?! I know that no stormtrooper can take a shot to the head and still be standing. In the movies, it always only takes 1 shot to kill one. Why isn't there a mod that makes it to where it only take only 1 shot to kill enemies in singleplayer? I have looked up and down for this mod, but I have yet to find one! Can someone please tell me where i can download this mod? Or for heaven's sake, make one! I'd appreciate the help.:bows:

You can edit the stormtrooper.npc in assets1/ext_data/npcs/ there you can change how smart he is, how much health he has how far he can see etc. etc. use pakscape to open assets1 in gamedata/base and open the .npc file with notepad

Thanks, After I make the change to the npc file it creates another stormtrooper.npc(the modified one), and puts it at the bottom of the assets1 list. Is this what is supposed to happen? And will it read my new stormtrooper.npc or the original stormtrooper.npc file? Did i do this right?

Never edit your assets files. Always put new content in new PK3s. You wouldn't want to screw up your BaseJA if you don't know what you're doing...

Sometimes I wonder if I'm wasting my time here...

Always put new content in new PK3s.

You open pakscape (yes, you CAN find it by youself, so look instead of asking), mimic the directory structure you see in the assets files (only that of the files you're using. If your file is in, say, ext_data>npcs, then just make those folders, with the right heirarchy), then save the file into your base folder. It doesn't matter what you name it, as long as it's a PK3.

You can't edit files while they are still in their .pk3. So you have to create/modify them outside the .pk3 then put them inside. That's how it worked for me, at any rate.
