Think someone figured how to do it with XSI and I think Raven released the model source and it's on JKFiles.

EDIT: Found it. There's three packs from Raven. Called Raven Animation and Model source or something.

I respectfully disagree. GMAX does not allow for importing of Raven's JA source models, because you can't import XSI files into the program. Now, XSI Mod Tool on the other hand, that you can do. Just be careful, cause the source models have about 4 copies of themselves hanging around in the actual file, so you'll want to get the main model (the parts without numbers in front of them) and export it out as an XSI file (wonder if that's the next thing I should do a tutorial on...). You can get XSI Mod Tool version 4.2 (completely free program) at softimage.com, or at the Master Sticky...which will provide a direct link to the program. You'll likely have better luck modifying the model, and you can weigh it with my tutorial and Corto's skeleton (also in Master Sticky).

Now that sounds great. I think I will download it.

If you did, it probably doesn't work. If there was a working exporter someone would have heard about it in the last 4 years.

Not to mention that it's against their EULA to add import/export scripts. That was their revenue was selling licenses to make gamepacks for Gmax. Which was probably why it ended up failing.

So yeah, the md3 import/export scripts and NWNMax (Gmax version) is technically against their rules. I guess Autodesk never cared, though.

And Eclypse, I was wondering how to do that for a year and a half now (that long already?) so now I have something to do this summer. :)
