Hi... i have the 3d studio 9 and I cant find a pk3 plug in that works fine, all of them are made for the 3ds 6 or lower. Does someone has a plug in that works in 3ds 9 or I will have to get 3ds6?

thanks anyway

I don't think you understand the purpose of a PK3... It is an archive format (like zip, rar, 7z, etc). It has no relation to 3DS Max or any modeling software.

If you want to open up pk3's you should get Pakscape. Here's a link http://jediknight2.filefront.com/file/Pakscape;31681

no, none of the older plugins work with 9, but this will keep people from ripping models, you dont need a glm importer anyway, it only imports the mesh, no bones or anything.

The only thing you should need a GLM importer for is to know how to size your models. Because the JKA skeleton is available, this is negligible for player models. For other models, it's just as easy to do it by trial and error. For map objects... well for map objects it doesn't matter what size they are. :p
