Hi all ! There is my problem. I've 3dsmax, i'm newbie in modeling and i'm trying to learn with filefront tutorials. I've installed all the plugins quoted on this page. After i've installed them, i've reseted my 3dsmax and it can't open .glm models it can open only .max, .drf and .chr files. I just want opening a Plo Koon skin to add him a robe and change his clothes model. I've forgotten a plugin ? I'm needing other program (like GMAX or something)? Thanks for help ;) Cya all

You need the glm import tool. And you need to actually import the model, not open it. Files->Import

I downloaded the GLM Import/Export plugin from the site Jose linked to.

Just go into the section for your version of 3DS Max and type GLM into the search box. Voilá!

EDIT Since I'm in a good mood, click here!

That's the plugin I used, and it works like a charm. I know the filename says max6, but I'm using 3DS Max 8 and no problems at all.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

The plugin I linked to should do both import and export GLM functions. Does for me, at any rate.

Ok i'll try to export with your own plugin you gave me. If it doesn't work, i saw that i'll need to save as .xsi file and with Assimilate import the .xsi file and save as .glm file. The problem is that i've not found Assimilate program xD

Your plugin is like the other one I've tryed it in 3DSMAX and when I do "files->Export" thee is no choice for (.glm) files. So I don't know how will I do :( EDIT: if someone can gives me the full name of the Assimilate program, it will help me thanks.
