When rendering my model, I clicked on the hidden geometry box, and when rendering, there were 3 other models(all the same, which i used the hand and hands from). Is there a way to get rid of hidden geometry specifically, or, since it's hidden, not have an effect on my model. Also, had a question about UVW mapping. I'm using the same UVW mapping, as the models are not new, only gathered together, do I need to do anything? how do I apply them in 3ds max?

Select them and delete them, or if you want to keep them just to be safe, just select them and click on "hide selected", or freeze them (remember to keep the "hide frozen objects" option activated).

how do I isolate or select them, I mean, as an example, an arm is inside the leg of my main model. I can't select the parts w/out selecting parts of my own model.

There's a "select by name" button, in the main tool bar in the upper part of 3dsmax. Simply click and select the name of the shape you want to hide. Otherwise there's another button called "hide by name", below the "hide" button, which is similar to the "select by name" with the difference that once you select you directly hide the shape.

well, I knew about the buttons, but i just didn't want to have to go through the list selecting every little piece and deleting it. So I'll just leave them hidden. Also, another question: Do I have to fit the head completely around the skeleton. I mean, for example, do things like the cheek fix and stuff have to be covered by the head, or can they stick out a bit. Using a rodian head, and it doesn't fit around the head part of the skeleton. I considered resizing the head, but it doesn't work. Also, tried resizing the body to be larger. but the same problem arises. I think it might be the size of the rodian head. Anyway, I'd appreciate any help on this other problem.
