I hvae 3ds max and how do i make a player model?
You must first learn how to use 3ds max well enough to make a character. (be sure it is under 3000 vertices) Once you have a character made, download xsi mod tools and learn basic usage for it. Next, download the Jedi Academy SDK, which contains helpful and needed tools to export the model. Then take Eclipses tutorial to learn how to weight, export, and get it working in-game.

I cannot help you very much further than this, because I have never actually made a player model before, but I am familiar with all of the required tools except assimilate, so good luck, and whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE UP! Making player models is very hard, but is also a very useful skill.
u can put bones and biped thingy in 3ds max.. why do u need XSI?
Ok, first of all, you can not make your own skelleton-you need to use the pre-made, unchangeable JKA humanoid skeleton, or you will get big problems unknown to me. It may be possible to weight (AKA put all of the model vertices on a skeleton for animating) the model using 3ds max, but I'm not sure if the model saves the skeleton upon export, so you will have to experiment with that. The farthest I have gotten to getting a playermodel in-game was exporting from 3ds to XSI mod tools and importing a skeleton.
Are there any tuorials for this?
