i found this model and i want it made into a map-object for the WWII mod. I can't even open it cause i don't have 3ds max, just Milk-Shake. So can some one make it into an map object. "[color=seagreen]Tank[/color]" shoots bullets at "[color=seagreen]you[/color]"

What format is it in? What's the poly count? I'm assuming whatever website you ripped the model from listen the poly count.

ME RIP!! I think rippers are the Scum Of the earth!! I downloaded it from a modeling website and its in .3ds format. And if sent an e-mail to the maker and is waiting for his reply, and if he declines, i WONT use it.

ok first .3ds is for a program called autodesk 3ds NOT 3ds max. second, you can import this into milkshape and convert it into an .md3 model like you do with makin a saber but instead put it in the map_objects folder or whatever so it compiles right and works. oh yeah and about the poly count, it looks like a high poly model and milkshape has a limit and thats why i never reccomend that program for anybody whos serious about modellin. so you might import only half the model. oh yeah and about the poly count, it looks like a high poly model and milkshape has a limit and thats why i never reccomend that program for anybody whos serious about modellin. so you might import only half the model.

you can import it to 3dsMax too, and after that export it to .Md3 :D
