I think it probably wouldn't hurt to add more faces in it does look a little low poly.

If you need a little help with 3dsMax, try checking out this tutorial. It is hands down the best tutorial I've ever come across for those trying to start their way through max, and shows you a lot of the fuctions that will help you define the mesh a bit more.

It's a Frech site, so I've included an english translation via altavista,... http://world.altavista.com/babelfish/trurl_pagecontent?lp=fr_en&trurl=http%3a%2f%2fmr2k.3dvf.net%2ftutorials%2fmax%2fpolygones%2fmodelisation_lpm.htm

Here's the original, in French. http://mr2k.3dvf.net/tutorials/max/polygones/modelisation_lpm02.htm

As Hapslash said, it is a bit low poly, but the shape itself looks good.

Well, it is smoother,...

You're going to want to bring the verts that run along the spinal column forward a bit. There should be a shallow valley that runs from the hips up to the bottom of the shoulders. As a result, you're also going to need to move the back of the shoulders to maintain the correct profile.

Kind of like Barbie, eh? If that's the way it's supposed to look, then it's looking good :) However if that were me, I'd fall over... ;)
