This is really strange. I've got a CTF map in progress, but when I try to compile it, it says about halfway through the compile: --- AddEntitySurfaceModels --- ************ ERROR ************ MAX_MAP_BRUSHES (32768) ..and then the comiling connection is closed. Does this mean that there are too many brushes already?!?! Current Brush Count: 975 Current Entity Count: 423 Current Net brush count (non entity): 531 Current Misc_Model count: 287
Indeed... You used TO many brushes... So the only way to get it compiled is removing some... I don't know the limit though...
most likley too many brushes,try using a different bsp
it must be a big map!that many brushes.wow.
im not sure but have you tried using caulk

That doesn't make a difference, it just stops t being rendered, but It still exists.
He hasn't used too many brushes at all. The game has a limit of 32768, he's used 531.
Try reading the whole post, and not just the title...
I'll play around in Radiant and see if I can replicate this error and get a fix. I've seen it before, but I had 22000+ brushes and I was using the older versions, so I can't say for this one.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
plz hurry :P not to rush you, but I only have the slightest clue as to how my map may look right now...that isn't a good thing.
What happened to the advice I gave you over msn about deleting those brushes with errors on them? 975 Brushes? The map I'm making right now is already over 8000 brushes and it's not even done yet!
