Guys , could u point me or write how step by step compile map to bsp.
Im tring to compile like that: "C:\GRY\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\q3map2.exe" -bsp -meta -light -v -vis -game ja -super 2 "c:\GRY\xxx.map"
I have windows 7 And the compiling is done and i can play on it but theres no lights etc. O_O
Ive looked ad Q3map2 wiki but i cant undserstand it :/
Please some write very accurate step by step how should i ma good FINAL compile.
Open the map in Radiant and click on the Bsp menu and select a 'final' xP

ive compiled map with
"Q3Map2: (simulate old style -light -extra) BSP -meta, -vis, -light -super 2" in GTK radiant but in game lots of bugs are. :/ Lights doesn.t work object distance view is coruppted objects shows in every room too late , burshes missing while cpompiling in CMD showed many errors :/ missing shader file etc.. Do u know what is wrong ? Maybe its Windows 7 fault :/ on Win XP would it work ?

And yeah, maybe it shows something that it can't find. If in-game it is good, ignore it.
you are working on Win Xp or W 7 ?
I was working on XP before, and now Win7 :D
a u have no problems with compiling ? on W7?
no brush errors ? visibility issues "no lights" = only global light ?
No problems for me.
I usually use meta for testing and final for light placement etc. Meta takes 15 seconds to compile, whereas final takes a lot longer depending on how big and detailed your map is.
And how optimized :P
