Is it possible to add a completely new shader to a weapon? I understand the basics of shaders, and I have one written that I need to apply to the concussion rifle. What I need to do is take the center line of the concussion rifle skin and add that concussion energy effect to it. How to I tell JA that a shader needs to be there?
You can try adding a shader to that texture.... In the first line of the shader (and all olines that require images) make sure your path is correct. For example... since it's a model the textures are no longer in the textures folder but somewhere else.... (like you kodels folder or somwhere in the gfx folder. edit:: make sure the shader is in the shaders folder... Also.. since the shader is not used in not used in the maping process you will NOT have to add it to your shaderlist.txt.
