Today I was messing around with an idea involving menu scripting. I made a map with a trigger in front of a console that would run a script which would open my new menu (I added the name of the menu to behavEd.BHC which I've gotten to work before). I also added the name of my new menu to ingame.txt in the ui folder. This seems to be causing problems though. There are other menus I've made which are also added to ingame.txt (and are still working) but whenever I add this new menu, liftmenu.menu, and try to load my map, the game freezes on the loading screen without showing the loading progress bar at the bottom of the screen. When I comment out the line with my menu name in ingame.txt it returns to normal. I've even tried changing the name of my menu file, but still nothing. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Lassev might know the answer to this one but unfortunately he's MIA. Try sending him an email or something.

Thanks Mercenary, I'll pm him on map-craft since he seems to be more active over there.

Check the liftmenu.menu. Have you renamed everything in the filée that u had to? If it is not working, try make this menu only show a simple background. If that's working, there is a problem in your code.

I did rename everything, and it was just a simple background and a title. It worked when I copied it and renamed it as a menu that was already working before, so I'm 99% sure it isn't a problem with the code.

Just to make sure that it isn't a problem with the menu, you could try replacing the "You died" menu with your new one to see if you get the same problem ;)

That's what I'm trying to say. I've already tried that and the menu worked, so I know it isn't a problem with the menu itself.

Please make me a zip file about your menu and txt file and I'll check it.
