I've been working on a skin with a friend and it's just about finished. I did a bunch of searches in the forum and read/watched tutorials and haven't found an answer to my question. If I missed it, I apologize... For a multiplayer skin, is it possible to assign sounds for *taunt*, *gloat* and *flourish*? In many other skins, I see some have *taunts* labelled "taunt" "taunt1" "taunt2" etc... They seem to "cycle" through the sounds when the *taunt* button is pushed. In the skin I've done, when *taunt* is pushed, it always (except one or two times) plays "taunt" and not "taunt1" or "taunt2". It also always plays "taunt" for *flourish* and *gloat*. I'd like to be able either cycle the sounds better or assign each soundbite to *taunt*, *gloat* and *flourish* respectively if possible. Any insight or help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I do not believe you can have a separate sound for "gloat" and "flourish".
There are a load of different sounds you can place on one skin, but most of the time alot is only needed for a single player skin where the npc will yell things during combat (like the Reborn saying, "Where are you going Jedi?" when you get to far away).
The most basic sounds to implement are:
Taunt (Taunt1, Taunt2, Taunt3, etc for more than a single taunt - a mod like JA+ may be required to hear the sounds get cycled through) Gasp (coming up from water or out of a grip) Jump (JA actually doesn't use a jump noise, anymore unless you use a mod like Force Mod, instead the "jump" will be placed as the sound when you roll) Those are the ones I would suggesting doing first, if you wish to implement other sounds for your skin's needs you can. If you need any help getting the sounds to work in-game say so and I'll post again with more info.
Thanks for the reply! I have all the basic sounds (and a few more) already. I'm using JA+ (v 2.3 I think). The problem I'm encountering is I have 3 taunts (labelled taunt, taunt1 and taunt2) but only one taunt is being played. It's not "cycling" through the taunts. The other taunts work, but are only played very, very sparsely. I don't know if there's anyplace or anyway to have the different taunts played in a more balanced out way. Am I making any sense?
you have to do /taunt1, and /taunt2 in the console separately I believe.
What I've noticed is that even when it does cycle it plays taunt1 the vast majority of the time. So perhaps it is and it just hasn't played the others yet? But I'd definatly try what Haruki said.
It may just be of luck that its not playing that one, i know from past experiance that i thought a taunt wasnt working then suddenly my skin finally said it, Also i thought it was just taunt not taunt1? i might be wrong, havent skinned in a while.
Thanks for the input! Another question, does it matter how the taunts are labelled? ie should it be: taunt, taunt1, taunt2 taunt1, taunt2, taunt3 or taunt, taunt2, taunt3 I don't know if that would make a difference at all.
I think its taunt, taunt2 and taunt3 Im not entirely sure sorry.

Do your taunts 'cycle' regularly? Are you by chance using JA+ (2.3)? I still only get the same taunt over and over. :(
