Yup. I am having trouble with the ambient lighting. I can't figure out how to adjust it. I don't even know where to FIND a place where I can adjust it! Help! P.S. I am using GTKRadiant... confusedx.gif

okay:

in the menu at the top, go Edit>Entity Info

A small dialogue box will pop up with a list of all your entities. Highlight the one called 'worldspawn' then press the big 'Select' Button. Now close the window using the x in the corner.

Now, press the 'N' key to bring up the entity window.

There are two fields near the bottom, Key, and Value. For Key, put: ambient and vor Value, put: 200

This will give your map an ambient light of value 200 (you can change 200 to 300 e.t.c)

Nope, It will not work only with the ambient key, you have to add the Color key, also.

For key type: Color

For value type: 1 1 1

Ambient light may turn your map unrealistic if you don't use it properly.

Are you sure?

All tuts I read on ambient lightng said that color key is needed.

After all, I've tried it myself and it didn't work without a color key.
