This maybe better fit for the help section, however this may also apply to modding. no error is displayed or no crashing, but, When using a screenshot function in JKA i get a bleck image and thats all, is there any known reasons for this? since i will not be able to release a new map without proper screenshots. another interesting error in this is a blue saber glow in one spot of the map, only when the player saber is on this is present, its almost like a light you can turn on and off, and the interesting thing is the character i'm using has no saber.

I believe it's a video settings issue, but don't recall the specifics. This error's pretty much extinct these days, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that your graphics card (if nVidia) isn't Forceware compatible?

But anyway, try these quick workarounds. If these work, then woot. Otherwise, we're probably gonna have to get technical. And if your vid hardware isn't Forceware compatible (scientific term would be "antiquated"), or is ATI, then "getting techncial" is really a less-depressing way of saying "getting messy".

1) Change to windowed mode instead of fullscreen. 2) Try using Fraps. 3) Try using Xfire.

Failing those, mix and match, and failing that... *starts writing the checklist*

well the interesting fact it worked before i updated this map to a V3. altho it could be an issue with the 130 brushes this shader is working on,

Mebbe. But like I say, try Fraps and Xfire. Many games have problems exporting images with their native commands, but Fraps and Xfire - rather than export a render of the game engine as it currently is displayed on the monitor - basically take a truncated screenshot. It's like hitting PrtSc, only you don't have to load it in Photoshop and clip/resize it yourself.

If Fraps, Xfire, and PrtSc don't work... you're stuffed, because onboard graphics really have more problems than they're worth.

Interesting theory about the shader, but I've never heard of a single case where a shader would prevent screenshots from working properly.

Last time I had this error was with Galactic Battlegrounds... or Age of Empires 2... bah, basically the same game anyway... but that was because the game was fullscreened to a different resolution than my desktop. That's why I suggested windowing.

i got the old "print screen" combo to work, it could be a driver issue on my end, and thanks for your help, i'll look into the suggested programs
