So anyway, i'm a very busy guy, but work work work seems to just drag me down and every now and again i decide i need to do something more "fun" than official projects. so i'm going to make this, by Luis Royo, a spanish artist. I'll be doing it much the same way i did with revan, building a high poly base to bake down for as much detail as possible. and yes, hopefully it'll make it's way into jka, but that's not a promise. here's where i'm at so far: crit away... the more crits, the better the end result will be.
This might just be me or the perspective, but her arms look too thin. I'll just say it now, before you get to sculpting them.
Also, you wouldn't happen to have a higher-res version of that picture, would you? It's kinda hard to make out the details.
EDIT: Found one. She might also be in need of a narrower pair of lips.

Three cheers for impractical battle-dress.
Again, it might be a result of the angle, but the chin on the model looks rather more pointed than the original artwork.
the lips need to be narrower... width or hightways? that might seem a daft question, but you'd be surprised how often people mean one or the other. i haven't touched the arms yet. i'll look at the chin for sure, i'm not entirely happy with the face either.
Width. And there's something about the cheekbones, but I can't put my finger on it.
Can I just raise my hand and ask something ?.... Weren't you going into retirement from JKA modding ?.... I'm not complaining but..... you said you were quite a while ago....
i'm not doing it FOR jka, just saying it could be ported to jka in the end.
small update, more on the torso than anything else, minor adjustment to the cheek. will work on the arms tomorrow.
Looks like Jessica Alba. D:
