Hey, I'm looking for a few new animations and was wondering if someone could do them. Dragon is too hard for me and I keep messing it up so I decided to get someone else to do it instead. Please post here or PM me for more information like reference pictures, etc. The standing still animations: (Without the hand extended though)

Lightning Animation: (Note how the saber is held (That is a backhanded blade so really the blade should appear up top) and use TWO HANDS.)

Force Push/Pull animation:

I'll post more once someone comes up and volunteers for this. :bows:

Wow thanks! I have a question though. I think I might take another crack at it but first... In Dragon, how do I add a frame? How can I go back and edit one? How to I play the animation? And lastly, how do I import ACTUAL models and weapons instead of wireframes?

At some point I'm going to sit down and write a tutorial for Dragon.

In Dragon, how do I add a frame?

Depends on the version but I believe finsa and finsb into the console add a frame in front and behind of the current frame respectively or you can go to the last frame and press +

How can I go back and edit one?

+ and - or use the arrows on the UI

How to I play the animation?

If you are using any version of dragon other than 0.85 or 0.89 click on preview in the UI. Type fspeed into the console to control the speed. In 0.89 and 0.85 the preview function is broken. I use 0.7.

And lastly, how do I import ACTUAL models and weapons instead of wireframes?

I presume you mean animate with a model rather than the default? Again depend on the version. 0.7=> 1) Get all of the model's files you wish to use (skin, model etc.) 2) Extract them to /Models/Players/ (making sure it doesn't create another folder inside the folder you extracted to) 3) Go to the /Avatar folder and oper the Default file 4) Change the lines

glm models/players/cultist/model.glm skin models/players/cultist/model_default.skin

Replacing cultist with whatever your folder name you extracted to was 0.8 Copy steps 1 and 2 of 0.7 3) Go to and open dragondefault 4) Change lines

smmodel models/players/default/model.glm smskin models/players/default/model_default.skin

Changing the default folder to the name of your folder you extracted to Also pre-empting this question

How do I get my model to hold a saber/weapon?

1) Get all of the weapons files 2) Extract them to /Models/Weapons2/ (making sure it doesn't create another folder inside the folder you extracted to) 0.7=> 3) Go to the /Avatar folder and oper the Default file 4) Add the line

bolt models/weapons2/saber_dual_5/saber_dual_5.glm rhang_tag_bone

Changing saber_dual_5 to your model 5) To get a saber blade add the lines (under the bolt lines)

color 0.05 0.15 0.05 length 32.0

Giving you a green saber blade around the size of the default sabers 0.8 3) Go to and open dragondefault 4) Add lines

smcreate Weapon_R smmodel models/weapons2/saber_5/saber_5.glm smbolt Dragon *r_hand

Changin saber_5 to your weapon (however there is a bug with weapon orientation here unfortunately which Wudan has recently fixed but hasn't released just yet) 5) I'm unsure how to add blades in 0.8

I use 0.8.9. Thanks for all your help. And what was the .cfg for? If it's to open in Dragon, didn't work, said it could not find it, and I tried renaming it to try just in case. Nothing. I tried in base folder, nada. So whatever it's for it don't work :P

Did you put it in you Dragon 0.89 folder e.g. c:\Dragon then, when in dragon, type

load force_unleashed

As for using it ingame you have to merge it with the _humanoid.gla. Look here Dragon FAQ - MovieBattles Community and I've made a larger resource which will tell you how to do it.

Another Animation request:

A stance for the blaster pistol that looks good, maybe with 2 hands in standard gun position? I downloaded one that turns it sideways "gangsta" style, but the 3-4 seconds of time after your shot when your running, well, it looks really messed up. The original looks even worse, as the elbow is at exactly 90` (degrees, not minutes), and it just looks still and lame.

Made one a while back but it's no use to anyone if people can't work it in Dragon.

I can't work out what is going wrong, I'll remake it in 0.89 and try again.
