Okey, we need animations for the Harry Potter TC. I find animating too difficult, and for some reason Dragon won't work for me. We're gonna need:

  • Wand swinging animation to replace Force Grip, Force Lightning (both single- and twohanded), Force Push, Pull, Absorb, Mindtrick, Push resistance and animations for pistol and other guns. Just a simple swing, you've probably seen the movies. Also better ready, walk and run animations. These could replace the dual saber animations.
  • Longer wand swing animation to replace fast style kata - this will represent Sectumsempra.
  • Swinging wand over head, pointing downwards. Replace Force Protect with Protego, e.g. looking to create a barrier around player.
  • Pointing wand to player's own chest, will replace force heal animation.
  • Replace choking animations with a modified wampa hanging animation - instead of hanging in both ankles, just hanging in one. Force Grip will be replaced by the Levicorpus spell.
  • Force Drain will only be used by Dementors, and thus it won't look right if they just hold out the hand to drain you... I was thinking of some sort of standing animation where they swing a little form side to side, back and forth. Have a look at the third movie, there's lots of dementors there.:p The close draining animation will be the dreaded "Dementor Kiss" and I was thinking of a less "tender" version of the JA+ kissing animation.
  • In the Force Jump animations the player should be holding the wand pointed upwards, as Harry did when using Ascendio.

That's all I could think of now. We'll really appreciate your help. A whole valve at Gringotts of goblin gold to the one that does this big task!:D

I don't have time to make everything you want (and am not sure I think this TC is a good idea) but I wanted to help out after you helped me. YouTube - WIP Wand/Dementor Stuff In order of view: Wand Diagonal Slash Wand Circle Wand Overhead Slash Wand Two Hand Hold Levicorpus Idle Dementor Drain Speeds are subject to change. A wand model would be apreciated to finalise hand positions. General polishing needs to be done to each animation. It would also be good if you could post some shots of your TCs current progress as I, and probably some of the community, are curious as to how much work is done and what this mod will entail.

I don't think the feet should be sliding around while he's waving his arms. Might want to work on that.

...harry potter comes to jka...now thats creepy some jedi gonna get pwned...or a wands gonna get broke...eather way some A$$ getting whooped. after i finish with the sote mod I could help via maps :)

I know. I did these very quickly more to ask if that is what Dahalaine wanted then to show final versions.

Yay, progress! I like that spinning swing, it will be perfect for Sectumsempra. The Levicorpus idle looks weird with both legs extended, it would be better if one hangs a little more. The architecture is good on the map, but the texturing isnt that good. Doesn't have the castle feel to it, the bricks are way to lightly colored.
