Hi all.I am currently making a model of a sword, "Master".The model is finished and skinned but it is not scaled yet nor have I put the tags on it.So I basically wanted to ask you people that which tags do I have to use and from which model can I get them.The Sith Scepter has two tags both named "tag_flash".Im not sure If I have to put those ones here.So please help me with the tags.Help is appreciated! :D With Regards, ~Darth MAk~.
Use tags from a saber and use maybe the sith sword as a size reference.
Your font is VERY annoying to look at and read btw...
tags from a saber would mean "tag_blade" and "tag_parent".But do i also have to put the "tag_blade"? and there is no Md3 of the Sith Sword so I shall scale it using the scepter...... AND now ISNT my font lookin a lil bit better??
Whether it's a lightsaber or a metal sword you still use those 2 tags, it's how you set up the .sab file to make it not use a light blade. It's all really quite rediculously simple, just pick apart the sith sword assets. Your lookin for a .glm btw, not md3. The md3 models are only used when the weapon is in the world and not being used by the player, i.e. dropped on the ground.
oh....thnx alot but 1 question....how can i scale it acording to the Sith Sword....Gmax has a md3 importer.....how can i do it with a GLM?
Dunno, don't use gmax, the program hasn't seen any support in almost 10 years.
then by which software can i open a GLM? ofcourse,other than ModView....so?

if i remember rightly you need a .glm importer for 3d studio max. there isn't one available for Gmax, i don't think.
and the GLM importers for max are only supported up to version 7 iirc.
