I just had the greatest idea for a siege gametype! It's basically BFII on the PC, but in Jedi Academy, and better fighting mechanics! Let's go with... The Clone Wars. It's what's hip right now. Okay. One venator, and one providence, fakely slugging it out at eachother. All the same things. Communications arrays, sensors, and so on.
OBJECTIVES (either side) Destroy the enemy BLANK and protect your BLANK! Battlefront II's space battles are a perfect Siege template for JKA. Ship spawns, space battles, sabotage... It's pretty self describable. However, BOT paths would be interesting to have on this too. It's possible, I mean... Repetative, but you could have bots that attack the hardpoints of your ship, making it even harder to play, right? We've got Mini's ARC-170, his V-wing... Mars' gunship, but... why have ship roles? Make it more diverse! Put every known ship in there! NO gunships. A Nu shuttle would be cool, though. Something we can run with. It'd be easy, and it'd be hailed as AWESOME if done right, though a team FFA or just plain FFA must be done, because not EVERYONE can play as fast online as others. Like me.

It's just such a simple idea. I can't believe nobody has DONE it yet!
JA's flight sim sucks, I'd rather just make stuff for SWBF2 rather than try to make JA more like SWBF2. You'd have to do some serious work to the game engine to make it like SWBF2.
Go play MBII.

Plus siege can do almost the same thing if you make a map using sige.
