I know that usually the search button is our friend but currently it is not being very cooperative. I am searching for any mod that replaces the bryar or DL pistol for a beretta or any contemporanic handgun. I know Hatrus did a fine job in creating a mod with alot of those models. Not sure though if they are hosted here.
They aren't. From what I hear, the models were ported from another game. That would mean they were illegal, and that is why they aren't on JK3 files.
Hatrus porting models? Now that's something... shocking... I actually admired his work.
hmm not sure if its illegal or not, but i have a file with Beretta, M3 tactical shotgun, M4, MP5, RPG 7 and steyr scout... its called military gun pack...
also i got an awesome Colt Z7... based on witch 2 pk3 files u add in gamedata/base, u can hcoose between handles and mantles... u can have gold, black or silver mantle, and the grips can have black, brown(wood) or silver/gold...
I actually havent tried the weapon pack yet, but the colt model is awesome and i strongly recomend it... and guess wot as a bonus on the colt model! I downloaded a bullet-time mod for jka, AND when u shoot with the colt it makes small rings... that means, when u use bullet time, it looks like the rings from matrix :D its awesome if u dont find, i tried to add the colt here, not sure if it works... mail me if u want it on email@example.com
I didn't make it!
Also, didn't Hatrus port a lot of models in the start of his "modeling" career - or more, "porting" career?
According to Hatrus, he only ported textures but rarely did he port models. He claims he was wrongfully accused of porting models. Same thing happened to Toshi here. He was accused of porting even though he actually wasn't. Now we all know Toshi makes his own models.
Polyflow does not lie, I'm afraid.
Granted, Hatrus soon grew out of porting and most if not all of his later work was his own, but amongst his early works were quite a few ports.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
