Ok. So I managed to get Binoculars to work in JA SP. I also managed to get low light goggles to work...sort of. The binoculars work fine, zoom in/out no prob. But when I try to use the LA_goggles, The lighting effect is missing. To get the goggles to appear, I had to port over some of the gfx/2d/ textures from JO into a folder in JA. I was curious if anyone has managed to get the goggles to work in JA sp? I think the problem might be with some shader or other missing file but have been unable to locate said item. I was wondering if anyone has found a solution to this? "Why would you want these items in JA?" you might ask? Well, I think they might compliment some sp projects. Also because there is a predator model out there, I thought maybe the goggles might be modified to be used as a "predator vision" type of thingy. I managed to change one texture in the la_goggles set that made the vision appear red, but would like to study how the actual "work in low light" effects work and perhaps modify them to appear as thermal imaging. I think this might be a SP source code issue, but perhaps not? Also I was curious if it is possible to make the charge on both the binoculars and la_goggles infinate so they do not require batteries? Thank you for your time!
