The idea is a mod preferably a part of JA+ where players would have a sort of a continuous bankroll and after a player is lamed he would have an option to set a bounty on the head of the killer. As the lamer grows in noteriety so does his bounty and the hunters can track him from server to server somehow and when he is killed he collects the bounty. I know it may increase laming but a Jedi game without bounty hunting just seems like a shame. I'd say the JA+ mod because it already tracks stats so a bankroll shouldnt be a problem and maybe add some visual effects or a virtual store with more hilts and lightsaber designs for purchase through in game money. I dont know just a thought.

Putting even more thought how bout if when you choose your profile you pick eith Sith, Jedi , Bounty Hunter or Neutural. Sith can kill Jedi on sight and vice versa for cash bounty hunters hunt bounties as stated before. and neautural is for those who dont care to join the conflict. And JA+ can track the overall Sith vs. Jedi killcount to add a lil competition. And bounty hunters can gain fame and money for collecting bounties laid out by either jedi sith or neautural players.

I haven't played JA+, but for something like this, you'd need a persistant world like a MMO. Not sure if JA supports that.

Anyway, the main problem is that you can't modify existing mods without the source code, and I don't think Slider has released his. So it'll only work if Slider makes his mod open source (doubtful), if someone gets Slider to add it, or if someone makes if from scratch.

Edit:

Sounds like Forcemod. That was a fun mod, too bad it's no longer updated...

Well thats why I say it should be intergrated into JA+ since it already tracks kills, deaths by whom, how many times etc...and so many servers run JA+ that it could work. I dont know just miss the Galxies bounty hunting days, =(

Well if it is posible, you might want to figure out the tracking, because i've noticed thats in alot of lugermod that there are alot of 12 year olds that happen to have a sis or bro and you dont want to go kill a little girl:bawl::confused: who whould not know why.

Most people think both JA+ and Laming are just stupid in the first place.

It might be doable, and not be in an MMO like setting. You would most likely have to have the stats continuously uploaded to a server running an application that's tracking everything.

It should be doable, but it can't be integrated into JA+ since that's closed source. Meaning that if it absolutley must be in JA+, you'd probably have to nicely ask him to add it.

From the looks of it, (my programming experience is limited and I hate programming, so reader discretion is strongly advised) though, you should just have to add a bounty variable and have the server track it along with kills. Then hotkeys to manipulate bounties, such as accept, set, and withdraw. You'd probably need to interface it with a database of some sort. I'm sure it's possible, it's just a matter of someone who knows what they're doing.
