I did a search in the forums and couldn't find anything that even looked remotely helpful. I guess that means what I'm asking for is a bit unusual. I'm interested in blocking a couple force powers. For example, players couldn't use Mind Trick. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Are you hosting a server? Or just playing (online?) and want to disable them? If you are hosting, there is a server...command... don't know which one.... and if you're just playing it... no clue....

I think you're trying to mod... but i cant be sure. If you are, you can probably disable it in the console, by using seta g_forcePowerDisable 0 ... For forcePower bit values use the rcon cmd forcetoggle (stole that from my JA+ Server CFG. ;-)

Here you go Irishpump. I've uploaded a handy lil app called "JA+ Bitrate Calculator" along with the readme. Simply check whatever force powers you want to enable, and uncheck the ones you don't want to be enabled. Once you did that, copy the "g_forcePowerDisable " string and paste it into your server.cfg.

READMEChecked means that the certain command is enabled in the server. Unchecking makes it disabled.

..And two and a half years later, here I am wondering how to do the same thing! Only I am not as tech minded as Irishpump and have downloaded the file and now dont know how to amend the server.cfg. I have worked outthrough the power of google that the .cfg fileis the JA+ mod I downloaded. But I have failed to open it to 'paste in the string'. Ihave searched and failed to understand how to amend such a file. GAHHHH!! The frustration! :curse: Can anyone help me?!! I just don't want Boba Fett to fry people with lightning in my solo games! In fact, I don't want any movie characters using lightning etc Palpatine and Dooku. Is that too much to ask?!!! Help me... if you can... I'm feeling down... Dave
