Or you could simply Rename/Delete the Cap Texture, i did it with spawn got rid of his damn boots and gauntlet, looks way better in the Original form.

Sure, you can. This is where I started learning to mod. Change a skin, make a npc, and soon you can change any model, within limits to the model, anyway you want. A quick walk through: 1.open the .pk3 of the vader of you choice. 2.find the skin in the models/players/"vader's name here" folder. 3.open the default skin file with a text program, like notepad. 4.Don't be overwelmed buy all the lines! Find where it says something like torso/cape/"the rest is meaningless for our purpose".jpg or .tga 5.Change it to say torso/cape/*off 6.save 7.Go up to the top folders and repack into a pk3 file, I recommend you name differently than the original file such as "Vader_no_cape" or similar. 8.Drop into base and play. There are other tutorials in the tutorials thread that can help you do a number of other things as well.

Or you can do what i said earlier and just make the cape go away... the only difference is instead of opening the skin file and editing it... find a file should be model_default.surf..... if there isnt one just open notepad... type Surfoff "(insert name of cloak model here without parenthesis)" to find the name just look in the .skin file and find where it has the texture for the cape and whatever the first thing is right before the comma and then the path...is its name... example head, models/players/(model name)/(texture name) save as model_default.surf and put it in the folder that the skin is in pack back into the pk3 and put in your base folder

Editing the .skin file and putting *off instead of texture directory takes much less time than making annoying surfOff file...
