Anyone know how to make a decent & moving cape for JA models?

The only way to make it move would be to make a whole new skeleton, which would only work as a model in SP, and not MP.

I got all excited with the Dooku model because supposedly the cape "flowed". Yeah, it didn't... it got the illusion that it moved because (I think - don't quote me on this) the bottom of the cape was weighted to the feet.

i see. Well, i had only banked on it being a single player bit (which evidently is a good thing). I suppose therefore, i create a new skelly, and animate the cape like another part of the body?

If you create a new skeleton you have to completely reanimate the entire model. At least that's what I keep hearing.

it WILL work in multiplayer, as long as your hosting the server, but no one will see the new animations except you, unless they also have the files. when im more confident with animating, i might do something like that =P and yes, dooku was weighed so the cape moved with the feet. it looks poo
