i created a weapons that is like a saber but it's more like a beam of electricity. I have the sounds and effects for it, how do i make the sounds and effects seperate from the sabers?

Hm.. i'm not entirely sure what you're saying. Are you saying you're trying to edit the blade? or make this a hilt? try to be more specific

the weapon works fine, but i want it to use seperate sounds than the lightsabers and seperate effects, but have the same use as a saber. So it can battle people with sabers and have it's own sound and effects

ah, ok... here's what you do: kyjik { name ^2Kyjik saberType SABER_SINGLE saberModel "models/weapons2/Obiwan_Ep3/Obiwan_Ep3.glm" soundOn "sound/weapons/kysaber/saberon.wav" soundLoop "sound/weapons/saber/saberhum4.wav" soundOff "sound/weapons/saber/saberoff.wav" saberLength 40 saberColor random } (this is a sab from a saber rink made.. this hilt pwns, dude) okay, this is the .sab file of a hilt. the SoundOn lines of script are what you need. if you leave these lines out, you'll use default saber sounds. just make a directory like that and put the file you want in the folder. the dir is its own separate folder path. like model,s ext_data, and shaders
