Uhm, can't you use runscript for your purpose? It did work with your menu-driven elevator, didn't it?

[COLOR=Navy]Yeah, I did it, but now I wouldn't like to do it. I want, for example you write something in a menu file's textbox, and I want to read that in a variable, what I can use in my scripts :P[/COLOR]

I managed to do this once, I had a script that read \viewpos from the console, matched it to a list of numbers containing certain viewpos-es, and typed in the correct angle correction to get to the next listed viewpos.

I used it to make a lambdashuttle bot that would take players around the map, but I can't remember how I'd done it...

[COLOR=Navy]I saw in more modification, ie when you are speaking with Luke, and you can change an answer. If you write 1 then you will say the first answer...etc. Is this possible only with edit dlls?[/COLOR]

Yes, that's the only way you'll get that working
