You know on the level taspir 2, after you encounter rosh and you have have to chose to either deactivate your light saber to remain on the light path, or kill rosh to turn to the dark side. How to you start a cutscene by deactivating your lightsaber. I know how to set one up by killing someone, just deactivating the lightsaber is the confusing part.

Study the script "taspir2/fightRoshMovePlayer" to learn the magic behind it.

You turn your saber off by pressing again the button for selecting the saber. That would be 1. If you press it again, the saber will turn on again (or you can just press your attack button (usually mouse 1)). That's really quite easy. I'm surprised you hadn't noticed it.

Schmidt I believe was just reading "... just deactivating the lightsaber is the confusing part." as being a 'how do i turn lightsaber off' question. Actually it basically says 'what is confusing me is getting the cutscene to end on deactivation of the saber'.

So Schmidt misread the idea. :D

My old man taught me a long time ago that for a stupid question you get a stupid answer. Honestly, nobody with at least half a brain would think Double W Jedi was asking anything else but how to set up the scripts to allow such a choice.

But then again, you regularly see here people who haven't got the slightest idea what they are talking about "answering" valid questions. Must be some in-house tradition.

One that I will proudly continue. ;)
