Ok, I have made a couple claw-type weapons. They are bound to the wrist using bolttowrist 1 in the .sab files and I have a problem. When I deactivate the weapons, the appear going through the models chest! I have never had this problem before and I dont know how to fix it! I have gone over everything I know...
LOL, I was just working on some claw type weapons yesterday. *scraps that idea!* well anyway, did you make sure to set the numblades correctly? I always forget to set that right.
I have some claws, and i've never tested to see if they retract. lol

numblades did the job. Silly me. now, is there any way to get the weapon to become invisible when deactivated?
Don't think so, not unless you switch to noweap, which is = key by default (I think) in SP. Not sure about MP.

someone makes that as a saber and ill go crazy! maybe using the desann or tavion stance to give it a new look.. hmm :)

Actually...it IS a Wolverine Claw project....
To get the blades to retract is quite simple actually, you swich to mele. ^_~ Otherwise he'll still be 'holding the hilt' so they won't dissapear unless you make an animation to do just that.
