i dont understand any of this i need a step by step Turtorial from the begining to the finished product, which includes the programs required. im only attemping to make a robed hooded model. im kinda new at this and we all started at one time, so i ask for detail. Tools and Tutorials sticky is your friend. The programs you can use a XSI SoftImage/Mod Tools, Gmax, Milkshape 3D, Maya, or 3DS Max. If you're trying to do a player model, XSI, Maya, or 3DS Max are the necessary ones. For tutorials on modelling, check the sticky, there are enough of them in there. A step-by-step tutorial is impossible for modelling, since we'd have to know exactly what you want to do, and then it'd be one damn long tutorial.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

You'd have to remodel the Jaden model, and then apply the cloak, from scratch, then weigh it, which requires a certain amount of modelling knowledge/ experience. At first, I thought you were talking about a cloak, as in cloaking device ... I get it now though. As Kouen (I refuse to call you by your new name because the older was cooler =\) stated, you'd need XSI's Mod Tools, Maya, or 3DS MAX. All of which are pretty complicated, although The mod tools are free, while I believe (last time I checked) there is no free version of Maya, and 3DS Max runs around $3,999...
