For modeling only. 1. I downloaded many tools to do modeling. I am trying to modify a model, let say alora. I will appreciate if someone will help me clear the picture of processing to modify a model; ================================================ milkshake ==> import .glm and export to .3ds? gmax ==> import .3ds and save to .gmax? When I edit something in gmax, no thing( any program or tool) at all to export my work back to .glm! ================================================ 2. What are the functions of software to produce a model? softimage = ? gmax = ? milkshape=? modview=? MD3view=? shadered2=? And how these software related to each other to produce? Thanks in advance

modview and md3 view are pretty much the same thing, they view models of a specific extension, ei. md3, glm etc. shaderEd lets you edit shaders. softimage, gmax, and milkshape are stand alone modeling programs, you dont need any of them to use each other o_O theres even .glm import/export tools for all 3 products.
