most of them just have different directories or missing textures.

Totally depends what "mods" you mean.

In general, you don't have to. Just copy them over to JA's base folder.

Most JKO models and skins work fine in JKA. Maps might have missing textures if converted from JKO to JKA. I haven't seen many conversions that work in JKA to JKO.

Code mods, in addition, will likely not work. This include DC Mod, AM mod, early version of Clanmod, DS-Online, etc. Models/skins will have broken animations with dual sabers. There is no way to fix this without rerigging the model. Most maps will be broken, but there is a universal texture/shader fix PK3 floating around somewhere. Some JK2 SP maps are usable as-is in MP and can even be played to some extent. Works better in OJP. In fact, Rich Whitehouse had the entirety of JK2's SP working in JA's MP before LA/Activision started meddling with Siege. However, the opposite is not true, JA models won't work with JK2 period, only some maps work, and zero siege maps work (you'll get a "could not find spawn point")

What do you mean "not works"? What exactly, step by step have you done?

Jedi Outcast singleplayer models? :wiener: Exactly what models are you talking about? Some links would be nice. :)

eezstreet;5615933 JA models won't work with JK2 period,

Not entirely true. See this video for the results of taking a JA model and throwing it into JO without re-rigging. Quite amusing, actually.
