Would anyone possibly be willing and able to convert this JA model to a JO friendly format for me? The model is called Darth Tiras, a Kel Dor Sith: Darth Tiras, Jedi Knight 3 Downloads, Jedi Knight 3 Others Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Or does anyone know of a tutorial so I can try and do it myself?

You'll need to weigh the model to the JO skeleton. Your best bet is to download XSI Mod Tools, then use tutorials in the sticky to weigh it. Check out the Modding Tutorials sticky for links.

And permission from authors, even though you only intend to use it in your own game, would be nice.

Uhm Rapp_Scallion, do you by any chance know where to get a jk2 skeleton to use with modtools? That's what I've been seeking to get my hands on for quite some time now, without any luck.

That is an excellent question. Some of the older tutorials may have links to the JK2 skeleton; you could also try to extract it from the JK2 _humanoid.gla file. I couldn't say for sure where to get it. You might also want to contact DLX, I think he used the JK2 skeleton for his Starkiller model.

You could also get the humanoid.GLA from JA, package it up, pop it in the JO base, and wuala. I think. Never tried that before, but I know a mod that does. It oughttta work with all JA models now.

Hmm wouldn't that screw up the JKO models though?

Dual sabers are held strangely with JO models, you can notice it more when the player taunts.

JO models/skins don't carry the animations file as far as I'm aware.
