What music is it? EDIT: Besides, if it's legally released, and the releaseis confirmed by rareware, it should be okay. You can always send Rareware an e-mail to be sure tho.

legally, you can use anything you want as long as you don't sell your map for money, and give them credit in the readme.

I believe you are wrong masterfred. It is illegal to copy copyrighted music to ANY format or medium without the consent of the said music's owner...even if it is for non-profit use. However, their are many people who do this for maps here in the JA community and have not be punished for it, and I believe the chances of someone making a map or mod and releaseing such music in it abd being sued are very slim. So I think it is more of a moral issue than a legal one. For instance, look at the huge coloseum sp mod for JO, that mod got alot of attention and the songs where ripped from the Gladiator motion picture soundtrack and I don't think the creator is sharing a room with bubba. Peace!

Se7enraven is right, but it's always best to check with any holders of copyright, I know I usually do.
