Okay, I just need to ask something about giving credit for textures you didn't make.

I made a level and I managed to do so only using textures originally from the game or textures from a texture pack I downloaded. So obviously I need to give credit to the creators of the textures in the pack, there's just one problem: I don't know who they are. o_O

It's not that I don't have the texture pack zip file to look back at, but the pack doesn't seem to include a readme or anything that would tell me how they want me to give credit. I also can't seem to find the texture pack online anymore so I can't go back to the source.

Now I realize that since it's a texture pack the creators probably don't care if it's used, it's probably expected. But obviously I'd still like to give credit if at all possible. Any suggestions?

If you ask me, just say that you`re giving credits to the authors of that texture pack, whoever they are. I`m sure that will suffice.

PM me with any details that might help me find the texture pack you refer to, I may have it somewhere in my resource library or have an alternate source.

Y'know, filename of the download, what it was titled/called on the site, etc. Anything like that.

Some people keep all the receipts for things they buy, Kouen keeps all his readmes.

More like Mikouen keeps all his resources. I don't extract and delete, I keep the archives as backup - and to make it easier and neater when I stick them on a USB drive or CD-RW.

I don't delete my zip files and I keep them all in one place, so I don't see how I could be missing anything that showed who made the textures.

If the authors didn`t include any Readme file, then I guess they want to remain anonymous. :clueless:

JK3file policy says that all files must contain readmes, does that extend to resources like this?
