Rich Diesel told us in his tutorials that CSG subtract was a flawed way of making doorways. Unfortunately, he nor anyone else appears to have mentioned a better way in their tutorials. Are they implying that you should build the doorway from many brushes. Incidentally, i seem to be unable to find anything on areaportalling, or even what it is- any help appreciated and finally, i s there any way to get brushes thinner than 16 units? (the smallest squares on the grid) i am one confused mapper....
Any help Please!?

to decrease the gridsize, simply go to the grid menu at the top and choose a size. I reccommend not building brushes thinner than one unit thick though. csg subtract is flawed ;) use multiple brushes, or make one brush and clip it into three.
