I've just started to make maps and am a total noob. I have been using RichDiesal's JK2Radiant Mapsource - Mapping University tutorials. The Texturing Tricks talks like there are more options. On one of my maps I was making, I was trying to make some curves. I did so and was ready to texture them. But when I hit S and start to texture the curve so it aligns with my walls there is no Set button. Like I said I'm using 1.4 and I got it off of GTKRadiant, Elite Force 2 Downloads, Elite Force 2 Mapping Tools because when I searched Radiant on JK3 I was redirected there. I have tried to use 1.5 and I would keep on using it because I can edit curve textures but for some reason textures on like ferns and leaves on trees do not show up at all but they do in 1.4. Seems like a lose-lose situation to me!

Thanks in advance for any help. :)

The difference between jk2radiant and gtkradiant, and one of the main discrepancies in rich desils is that tutorial. TO get to the patch editor, press shift + s instead of s.

the options in their are follow. natural is the equivalent of ctrl + n and fits the texture to it normaly. Cap fits it the way it would fit on a regular brush *doesn't pay attention to how the curve is shaped* and fit, fits it 1x1 to the patch.
